Cindy Terry, AIA, principal of Westwork Architects will give a presenation of the Pete and Nancy
Domenici Hall Phases I, II, and the recent UNM Neurobiology Research Facility Addition. The
participants will gain knowledge of a university research facility that illustrates the technical
restrictions of state of the art medical research imaging with MEG equipment, research quality MRI
equipment and laboratories supporting the investigation of mental diseases and disorders affecting
the human brain. The project will illustrate the difficult phasing of multiple addition on the same site
and designing for construction that has been ongoing for over 20 years at this building. The building
responded to a demanding program while maintaining a connection to the UNM Campus architecture.
Cindy Terry has been a principal at Westwork Artchitects for 16 years, her firm is renowned for its
excellence in design. Their work has been published extensively nationally and internationally. She is
a native New Mexican and graduate with a Masters in Architecture from the University of New Mexico.

AIA Albuquerque offers monthly lunch meetings that include a CES presentation. Lunches provide members the opportunity to interact and to obtain continuing education credits.

The lunch meetings are held at Seasons Rotisserie & Grill located at 2031 Mountain Rd NW in Old Town Albuquerque (off Mountain Rd one block east of Rio Grande Blvd). Free parking is available in the parking structure or on the street.
The fee for AIA members and AIA Allied members is $25, and the fee for non-members is $30. Lunch fees must be prepaid either by credit card (Visa or Master card only, please) or check.
Reservations must be received at the AIA office by 5:00 p.m. the Monday before the date of the lunch. Reservations made after this deadline will have an added charge of $10 per lunch.
