INTRODUCTION:

The Albuquerque Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and Su Casa Magazine announce the Fourth Annual Residential Design Awards Program. This awards program encourages and recognizes distinguished residential architectural achievement by New Mexico architects. The awards program is open to all registered architects who are active AIA architects and to non-AIA architects. By publicizing outstanding architecture to Su Casa Magazine’s 70,000-plus readers, the program serves to increase public awareness of the outstanding services provided by architects as well as to emphasize the importance of the architect’s role in honoring and extending the unique architectural legacy of New Mexico through design excellence. This design awards competition also provides the opportunity for smaller firms to gain recognition for their outstanding residential designs.
