Join SMPC Architects, Franken Construction, and the project team for a one-year follow-up tour of the historic Boiler Shop at Albuquerque's Rail Yards as construction nears completion on CNM's new Digital Media Training Center. Participants who attended the original June 2025 presentation will compare the project's original design intent with the building's current state while learning how architectural, structural, and preservation challenges were addressed throughout construction. The adaptive reuse of the nearly 10,000-square-foot industrial building has transformed the former Boiler Shop into a specialized educational facility featuring professional sound stages, recording studios, instructional spaces, and support areas designed for New Mexico's growing film and digital media industry.
