We are seeking a Project Manager / Team Leader with 10+ years of experience and strong capability managing multiple larger projects simultaneously. Ideal candidates will bring:

 

  • Deep experience with NMPSFA K 12, NM Adequacy Standards, Higher Education, Multi Family, and light medical projects

  • Strong design sensibility and concept level presentation skills

  • Knowledge and Proficiency in drafting standards, techniques and construction document package preparation, organization and execution

  • Understanding and experience in specifications and project manual preparation and organization

  • Experience and proficiency with construction phase services

  • Proficiency in Revit, Lumion, InDesign, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office

  • Excellent client-facing communication and relationship building skills

  • Proven ability to coordinate engineering consultants and lead internal teams

  • Solid understanding of construction methods, building envelope systems, and detailing

  • A professional degree in architecture

  • A teachable, humble, team oriented mindset

  • Federal project experience (preferred but not required)

  • Architect's License or Registration (preferred but not required)

This position may serve as a key project team member or Project Manager and will be responsible for the successful delivery of assigned projects. Responsibilities include coordinating internal design and multidisciplinary teams, preparing fee proposals, developing construction documents, conducting building code and zoning reviews, preparing cost estimates, and managing bid and construction administration activities. The Project Architect will ensure project goals, budgets, schedules, and design standards are met. Candidates should have a minimum of five years of industry experience and possess (or be able to obtain) a Registered Architect license in New Mexico. Experience with municipal projects is preferred. Strong technical knowledge, organizational skills, and communication abilities are essential. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required.
