About the Event
Designing with Climate means integrating environmental conditions and local weather patterns into the building design process in order to enhance energy efficiency and comfort. The goal of this charette is to find the top design solutions unique to New Mexico’s architecture and landscape and pave the pathway to creating a sustainable and resilient future. The focus of this session is Energy & Building Systems. This approach minimizes reliance on artificial heating and cooling systems by leveraging natural elements like sunlight, wind, and temperature variations. An informative session brought together by professionals from the Architecture and Engineering industry, this session will be a source of learning sustainable design concepts and energy efficient technologies to fuel the vision for the future designers of New Mexico.
