Virtual Event
About the Event
Attendees will hear about the shape of New Mexico’s economy as a whole, with break downs for industry-specific data in the state and Albuquerque metro area. Mitchell will detail the damage inflicted by the coronavirus pandemic, as well as the likely reshaping of New Mexico’s economy for years to come. He will highlight his July presentation to the Legislative Finance Committee and his reasons for encouraging state legislators to view the pandemic-triggered recession as a longer-term change to our economy, not just a temporary storm to be weathered. He will also touch on the host of factors that the pace of recovery will depend on – the spread of COVID-19, the length of state-imposed business closures, how long it takes consumers to feel safe enough to go out again, and the availability of a vaccine.
Followed with discussion from Colliers International Keith Bandoni, Senior VP, Principal, Bob Feinberg, Senior VP, Principal and Sarah Baiett, Director of Marketing and Research about the Albuquerque/NM market. End of this virtual luncheon will depend on the amount of discussion.
