Building Towards Zero: Decarbonizing the Built Environment in New Mexico
Embodied carbon emissions stemming from building construction, including materials, transportation and construction activity, are a huge contributor to global and national emissions. By reducing these emissions, we can help mitigate the effects of climate change, increase market value, and meet ESG commitments.
Join AIA Albuquerque for a Building Transformation Forum exploring practical tools, resources and strategies to support building decarbonization at the project or portfolio level. Given the scale of carbon emissions produced by the built environment, the building industry holds the potential to make an enormous contribution towards curbing global warming and the effects of climate change.
